MARDAN PALACE GRAND OPENING - CONCEPT AND DESIGN

The Mardan Palace grand opening concept was inspired by the themes of history, imagination and technology.

One of the challenges of the show was the 360 degree nature that the site demanded - how to draw the audience's attention to different areas effortlessly? I used the performers and a flow of effects to create this link, pulling the audience's eyes across the scene.
Several months in the planning, involving all disciplines of multi-media shows and over 160 crew, it was a huge technical and creative challenge.
